What's L?

Leader. Loyal. Logical. Long Suffering. What more? There are many adjective words that represents letter L. But with those words I've heard from my classmate's mouth, the word Leader was my answer too.

Anselm according to some historians was the revite of Augustine Redivivus. He was described as notable writer, Father of Scholastic, excellent teacher and merciful with the people that he was serving at his time. Not just that he was those things but for me he was a leader. A leader who is loyal with his duties and responsibilities. A leader who suffered long just for the sake of being a leader. What he experienced was not easy for he undergo two exiles. He left home and sought to shape his life according to God. Later after his death, he was declared as Doctor of the Church.

I, too, believe that am a leader. I lead those people I am ministering with to Christ. I should take a good example so they may imitate me as what Paul wrote to the Corinthian people "imitate me as I imitate Christ." To be imitate to and to say such phrase is a hard thing to do. It takes our life so others may see us worthy to be imitated. I am not just a leader but I am a follower too. I follow Christ's example so I may know what should I do. The Bible where in God's Word are written is the foundation of my teaching and principles so that I would not teach things that aren't biblical and would be away from temptation to lead my own church that is not Christ-centered.

Hence, being a leader is not an easy task but by God's grace and help I know  I can and will continue to do so knowing that we glorify the Lord in doing such. I may not be remembered as someone as great as Anselm but to have Christ in me and have served Him wholeheartedly, that would be more than enough :).
